The True Rich Ramalho Story – the Beginning…..
Hi! My name is Rich Ramalho. I am honored to have you here visiting my achieve Internet marketing success Blog. My goal here is to provide you with valuable content and show you that you can make money online working from home in network / affiliate marketing.
First, let me tell you a little about myself. I started as an entrepreneur at the ripe old age of 13 delivering newspapers on my bicycle for a major newspaper (Daily News) in my hometown way back in the day where I grew up in Southern California. Around the same time period I also mowed lawns and collected aluminum cans for extra cash. At 16 I got my first real job working for one of the top fast food chains. 2 years later I graduated from high school. I was 18 years old and free to do whatever I wanted!
In the next few years I kind of bounced from job to job in search for the ultimate high paying position – something that would pay me for what I believed I was worth. Out of pure frustration I decided to enroll into college but quickly realized that college was not my passion. You see, at age 13 I had also started playing guitar and absolutely fell in love with the idea of being a rock star. Between working and school I would spend every waking moment listening to cassette tapes of my favorite bands and artists trying to figure out how to play what I was hearing. Over time I got pretty good at playing my axe and ready for musicianship. So here I was ready to conquer the music world!
For the next few years I did just that! I played and jammed with great musicians in the Southern California circuit. Now I was finally ready to make my mark and establish my own identity in the world of music. I auditioned for a band and we immediately clicked. We practiced non-stop, played the Los Angeles/Hollywood area relentlessly and built up a good size following. It was during one of these gigs that I met my wife Nikki.
And there you have it! I met Nikki and 2 years later we were married.
As a struggling musician I made the change to a JOB working as a truck driver for a beverage company. Getting up at the crack of dawn and getting home late just about every night. I worked as a truck driver for 10 years.
During this time Nikki and I had our first child, Ashley. It was such an incredible feeling being a first time father and for Nik, a first time mom. For those of you who are parents you know exactly what I’m saying.
Nikki spent most of the time raising Ashley for the first few years while I worked my JOB. Before I knew it time was flying by. Ashley went to preschool then kindergarden and next grade school. Here we were having her 8th birthday and yet it seemed as though she had just been born. But the next turn of event was not expected…
Ashley started to complain of having a headache. We took her into the emergency room and after the doctor ran some tests he told us that we needed to get her over to the children’s hospital right away. Nikki stayed with Ashley – (they took her by helicopter) while I rushed home to grab us some clothes; prepared to spend the night there. 3 days later Ashley passed away.
My wife and I were stunned, in shock and disbelief. Our 8 year old daughter was gone forever.
During this time period I needed a change. My mind was on another planet and my body had taken
it’s toll. I made a career change from truck driver to a mortgage consultant. I really had no idea what I was getting myself into. To put it bluntly…it was a nightmare! The long hours and the stress of deadlines kept me up at night. I remember some late nights scouring the net looking for some type of work from home opportunity I could do. The more I worked my day job, the more determined I was to find a way to make money online working from my home office.
I studied hard and dabbled in a few online marketing programs; making a little of money here and there. My main focus was strictly on marketing. By studying and following some professional marketers I knew that if I learned how to market properly I could go into any direction online (boy did I hit the nail on the head). Four years later I walked away from that job and have been online marketing ever since:-)
To you success,
Rich & Nikki
